Can the Spouse KITAP be renewed?

Can I apply for an EPO after I leaving Indonesia?

No, you cannot apply for an Exit Permit Only (EPO) after leaving Indonesia. The EPO is a document that must be obtained before you leave the country. It is issued by Indonesian Immigration and serves to cancel your KITAS/KITAP and other associated permits. Without an EPO, your exit from Indonesia is considered incomplete under immigration regulations.
However, if your Kitas expires while you are abroad, you must apply for an Exit Re-Entry Permit (ERP).

When do I need to submit an Exit Permit Only (EPO)?

You must apply for the EPO at least two weeks before leaving Indonesia, if you and or your sponsor will not extend your Kitas.

What happens if I leave Indonesia without cancelling my Kitas?

IYou can leave Indonesia and come back as long as your Kitas is still Valid. However, if your Kitas expires while you are abroad, it’s not that simple to return to Indonesia with an expire Kitas. The authorities will bar entry to Indonesia if you have an expired Kitas.
